This 1-day course will provide an introduction to Modicon's Unity software, utilizing the IEC programming languages. TWIDO PLC Quickstart (IAD102)

In 1 day you will be introduced to the TWIDO PLC and its TWIDO-Soft Windows based programming software. The course will cover configuration of the TWIDO Compact fixed I/O systems and the Modular I/O system. The programming portion will include basic ladder, timing, counting and some of the capabilities of the powerful Operator Function block. Included in the cost of the training is the Modular system starter kit, #TWDXDPPAK2E. Unity IEC Programming Level 1 (S211E1)

This 4-day course is intended for controls designers or system support engineers who need to program Modicon Quantum, Premium, or M340 Series PLCs using the advanced instruction set. Upon completion of this course the student will have the skills to:

    Unity Application Generator (S221E2)

    This 2-day accelerated course teaches the foundations of Unity Application Generator, a design and generation tool for PLC/HMI integration. Upon completion of this course the student will have the skills to:
  • Define a general layout of the process based on objects defined in the Physical Model of ISA S88.01 standard
  • Build the control architecture with PLC's, HMI's, and networks as the Topological Model
  • Generate a major part of the control logic for the PLC and the HMI from the process design
  • Establish network communications (HMI to PLC, PLC to I/O)
  • Generate a generic CSV output (database for other vendors who can accept this output)

    Modicon Quantum SIL 2 Safety Systems (S220E2)

    This 1-day course teaches the requirements and standards for PLC safety systems. Upon completion of this course, the student will have the skills to:

    This 1-day accelerated course covers scripting with Pro-face's GP Pro and GP Pro EX software.     Introduction to Machine Vision (IAD110)

    This 1-day course introduces you to machine vision: what machine vision is, what it can do, how it works, and provides an overview of Balluff vision products. Through demonstrations of several Balluff products and analysis of sample applications, you will learn the capabilities of machine vision and the basic steps in solving a machine vision application. The course includes classroom lecture and lab exercises, for which students are encouraged to bring their own parts from current vision projects.     Lighting for Machine Vision (IAD111)

    This 1-day course teaches the most common machine vision lighting techniques, including bright-field, dark-field, backlighting, diffuse lighting, and on-axis lighting. Through both demonstration and hands-on testing, you will learn the difference between fluorescent, LED, halogen, and laser illumination, and when each is applicable. Advanced topics include polarization, filters and transmittance curves, light-control film, and UV fluorescence. No experience with machine vision is necessary.
