A site survey involves gathering GPS coordinate information and using software to estimate the
necessary antenna elevations and orientations. Our site survey culminates in a field visit where
we physically mount radios and antennas to verify our theoretical calculations. Often the
calculations need to be adjusted to account for noise and obstructions such as buildings and
foliage.
